Lotte Van den Audenaeren graduated from the LUCA School of Arts in Brussels, Master of Fine Arts, and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts KASK in Ghent, Master of Fine Arts. She received the Award Legacy Franciscus Pycke and became Coming People laureate at SMAK Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art, Ghent.

In 2012, Van den Audenaeren joined the ISCP residency program in New York City. Recently she worked on projects in Shanghai, Vancouver, San Diego, Mexico City & Brussels.

Lotte Van den Audenaeren has participated in various solo and group exhibitions at national and international art venues & institutions including NURTUREart, Brooklyn; ISCP, NYC; Larissa Goldston Gallery, NYC; Illuminus, Boston; InstantCoffee Collective, Vancouver; Netwerk Art, Aalst; Cultuur Centrum Strombeek, Brussels; Unicredit Pavillon, Bucharest, SMAK, Ghent.

Recent solo projects are sound meteors in Shanghai; ALL STONES WILL BE RETURNED in Boston; the timekeeper and circles of fifths, Brussels.

She undertook residencies in Canada, China, Europe, Mexico and the US. In 2012 she completed a public commission for the City Council of New York, in 2014 a permanent public commission for Brussels Capital Region.
